|The Tradition of the Jesse Tree
Jesse Trees are a very old Christmas Tradition and first started in medieval times. They are used to help tell the story of the Bible from creation to the Christmas Story.
Each day through advent a special decoration or ornament, that tells a story from the Bible, is hung on the tree and a devotion is read. Its a wonderful way to keep your family’s focus on the what this time of year is all about. If you would like to be apart of starting a new fun and meaningful Christmas tradition this “Her” event is for you…
Everyone makes 25 of one specific ornament and then we will have a night to come together and exchange and you will leave with a full set of Jesse Tree ornaments.A link will be provided to purchase a copy of the devotional that goes along with the ornaments when you sign up.The last day to sign up to be apart of this exchange is November 7
We will meet on November 28 to do our exchange.
